KarmaDope:
Passing by table 5, I notice a hand where I actually know all the players!

John McMurray has bet 550 on a flop of 6h 5s 3h and GiMac has called. Ben Burnhill Des Duffy overcalls and Shug has value so he calls too!

The turn is the 9s and Burnhill leads for 1600. Shug grimaces but eventually calls and McMurray folds loudly (the dealer puts his cards to one side as John wants to show after the hand). GiMac has a wry smile as he also calls.

The river hits every draw in the world, the 7h. Burnhill checks, and Shug takes his time before betting 2500. GiMac folds pretty quickly and Burnhill has a resigned look on his face as he calls with 9d 8d for the straight. Shug has  10h 9h for the flush though, and rakes in the pot.

McMurray"s hand? Ac  A s

Some of the tables here are a bit on the wee size. e.g. the one below featuring Michelle Gascoine.

It"s so cosy on that table, that Michelle has had to remove her jacket. That"s the first time in APAT history this has happened! Proof below:

Don Roberts doubles up, set of 10"s against set of 9"s all in on the flop

KarmaDope:
Curly just won another nice pot when he turned broadway and Ian McGoldrick managed to fold the river of a K-J-T-Q-4 rainbow board. McGoldrick flashed the 9 and obviously Curly had the Ace.

Grant "Fat Charlie Sheen" Speirs, the defending champion, has about 28k. I asked him how, he said he can"t stop flopping sets and full houses. Davie "ForthThistle" Blacklaw added "just for fun!".

Lucy Amos has trebled up and said it "would be nice bragging rights" if she can outlast Phil TC.

KarmaDope:
And finally, the blinds are now 75/150.
