Aye, it"s just that it"s looking like BO3 this early in the tourney is going to make the whole thing 3 > 3.5 hours. Still, if we finish at 1.30pm that gives an hour to get back to hotel and then to casino = doable. And of course, everyone who hasn"t qualified for the QFs can head off after the RR round if they like.

An alternative format would be:

2 leagues of 8 players each.
Everyone plays 2 games vs each other. 1 point for a win. 0 for a loss.
Top 4 from each league progress to QFs.

I"ve got to dash out now, but if someone could work out how many games that is in total, I"d very much appreciate it! :) (if not, I"ll do it on my return later).
