If we have e.g. 4 leagues of 4 players each, then it will definitely be BO3. Meaning you get to play between 6 and 9 sets in the knock-out stages.
If we"ve 2 leagues of 8 players each, then it would just be BO1. You"d still get to play a guaranteed 7 sets, so not that much difference, and could be easier to organise that way.
Haven"t decided the best way yet... Though, I"m swaying towards 2 leagues as makes it easier to organise when people don"t turn up, and makes sense if we can get 2 tables (both tables will be constantly in use, with less sitting around waiting).
