TheReflex:
Hey Des, the main problem you have with multi tabling is the Monday, when the heads up tournament is played. It runs in sync with day 2 of the main event.

You can"t multi table a heads up game with another game in the live arena!

That is the only problem in what is a great schedule IMO. I"ve been speaking with Chris Peers (winner of the heads up last time) and he agrees with me that the schedule is exciting, but he said he"d be a bit gutted if he didn"t get the chance to defend his title. I can empathise with him there. The heads up tournament has a winner, I believe he should have the chance to defend it. Whereas a razz tournament and a "cash game" tournament doesn"t have a previous winner, maybe one of these events should have been on the final day.

He"ll probably bust 1st hand in the main event now and be able to play the heads up anyway now I"ve mentioned this haha!

Not gonna be an issue :p

FWIW the way i see it is you just have to prioritise what you want to do. I am personally not playing the Omaha as i want to play the HORSE so need to play day 1b of the main event.

TheReflex:
I totally agree that you need to pick and choose, and drop some games, I get that and respect it. Just seems a shame that you could have a tournament played without it"s defending champion.

He"d be punished for doing well in the main event, because the final day clashes with the heads up.

He wouldn"t have a choice, would he? He couldn"t pick and choose between the final day of the ME and round 1 of the heads up, he"d have to unregister!

Exactly - there are 10 events in 4 days... can"t play them all!  Helluva selection though - massive kudos to Des and team for getting this together!!

I totally agree the variety is amazing, and it"s going to be a great few days! I"m not disputing that at all, and I don"t want to come across as ungrateful to the work that"s gone in to this, I can"t wait for this long weekend!

It"s only a small thing I noticed, and it seems a shame you would have to drop out of a well established tournament if you got to day 2 of the main.
