The Oh Baby When You Talk Like That - Shakira Shakira team needs its own thread - so here it is.

Having smashed the field in Week 1, with 3 on the FT, we faced a much tougher task last night as 4 of our 6 players were involved in other tournaments and were sitting out for the first hour and a half. Although a couple of them rebuilt their stacks, ultimately it was too much and we ended up in the ludicrous position of only having one player on the FT and finishing 10th of the 26 teams, which was a pathetic result. The upshot is that we have slid down the rankings to 2nd in the league, which is just not acceptable. I have considered my position, but have decided to give myself another chance. However, we must do better than this in future. We can recover from this disaster by taking inspiration from the words of Shakira at the Oxford Union, when she said "I strongly believe that the best is yet to come":

One ray of light was the performance of our Justin, who made it to the FT for the second week in a row to go top of the individual rankings. It was a super achievement when he finished 1st in the individual rankings over the year for the whole Online League previously http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=8549.0, but it is amazing that he has now done it again http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=13230.0. Justin was inspired to hang in when the going got tough by Shakira"s persistence in tackling poverty, disease and lack of education.
