River bet

Make a bet if:

- A better hand will fold, or
- A worse hand will call.

You "might" get a crying call from 67. Can"t see an overpair or Ace high that"s been played in this manner. 8x crying calls, 9x sticks it in your eye.

No value in a bet at this level.

(as a standard I"d be better bigger on the flop too).

AMRN:
If you do bet the river, you have to decide if it"s a value bet or a bluff.  Given that you can"t really call a raise, you would only ever be bluffing... yet you have reasonable showdown equity.    I would prefer to try and get to a cheap showdown now.     The only bet I might make here is a small stopper bet.

Not in position you wouldn"t

Clear check back, expect to see 8x or 67. I doubt villain ever folds a boat. May be tempted to 3bet the turn vs certain villains

OK that"ll teach me to pay attention to the OP :)

Never betting here - expect him to have an 8 a lot of the time. Not even sure he would call with a straight.
