Very few things make me happier than Michael Holding doing cricket commentary. Pure silk.

Agreed, although, sat in my shorts, with a beer, listening to Bumble commentate on a test match. Life couldnt get much better unless Nick Compton announced his retirement from test match cricket.

£50 Deepstack Freezeout - 4/49 (even chop 4 way)
Well, the polar opposite of the above. Endless moaning seems to do it.
Was never all-in over the course of the tournament. Never had to get lucky at showdown, won most of my chips post-flop - for once when people played terribly against me they didn"t get there in unbelievable fashion. If I had a slightly marginal situation things would be on my side (i.e. 3bet AJ, get peeled by AT).
I.e. 400/800 Loose UTG limps (15k), UTG+1 (30k) limps, I limp UTG+2 (50k) with 99. Tight button (14k) dwell raises to 3400. Blinds fold and both limpers call. With over 10k in the middle I don"t mind taking the deal money and hopefully flipping with the button, so I effectively jam by re-popping to 36k. Button tank folds TT, UTG folds and UTG+1 snap calls his above average 40BB stack...with ATo.
Obviously I"m horrified, but actually win the flip (the only one of the four I would actually beat at showdown too). I"m staggered. 70k pot and I"m up to 90-100kish.
Went to FT as chipleader, didn"t really see much, got to about 350k at max but then went card dead for about half hour. When an even chop was proposed I wasn"t going to turn it down when I was the short stack - though we were all pretty close.
Took £545, and am stoked that the stake is in profit already. Dead chuffed as it"s my first half decent score for time!
Erimus:
