Poker Prop bet - anybody up for this

Just played my first ever 180 sit & go. The play was different to what I expected. I had to adjust quickly to what was happening. Taking down the pot pre-flop was a rare sight, and there was much more 3 betting than I expected in the early stages.
With a decent stack calling with A 10 to a 20BB shove seemed like optimal play to me in this comp ?
I have never seen so many all-ins. Maybe my first taste of these 180s was not typical ? I am looking forward to playing my next one. I finished 15th for $3.89 in my first one.

I have been playing cash games 6 max $20 recently, and obviously the two are worlds apart. Maybe my mindset was still in this mode, and why this format came as a bit of a shock.

Just to confirm in our league is it the player that accumulates the most prize money, not the player who makes most profit after deducting the $2.50 entry fees?

It is most profit

What you described is fairly typical. These are basically a different game to a cash game.

Knowing how to play them though teaches skills that can come in very handy in those difficult tournament situations when you hit the "pinch point" of a tournament.

I can understand this :-)

OK mate, just unlock it before you play any, will assume you have played 0 if not unlocked. Don"t for get, it"s 20 to qualify.

Played a group of 5, min cashed in one. Not the start I was after but it"s a long month with lots of tournaments to play.
