This is a dream flop for your hand, top pair, gssfd and blockers, if folding is an option for you ( which it most definitely shouldn"t be) just fold pre.

I prefer to check raise jam here, we can pick up some overlay if btn flats and maximise our fold equity.

AS above  ::) ::) ::)

Chipaccrual:
I assume you had a plan when you called pre-flop ?

That plan would have involved you somehow hitting a part of the flop ?

Congratulations, your plan has come together nicely, get those chips in and good luck.

hi_am_chris:
Agree with above, prefer a check / Jam.

Probably fold pre but once you flat pre and hit that flop you should be finding the best way to get the chips in the middle.

Hope if you had checked that it wouldn"t be with a plan to check call flop :)

adilong1:
So, would fold pre in SB have been a better option??

Yes the plan was to flop a straight flush ;) not far off either.

As it happened I called the shove and he showed  Ah Js and I missed :"(

No problem with your pre flop play. Once I see that flop it"s a CRAI all day long.
