I spoke with Aspers about the 6k yesterday and for some reason they wanted to stick with 6k - I"ll discuss again tonight.

I think it"s because Razz is generally played by Grumpy Old men and a 10k starting stack would see the event last many days!!

Certainly the three previous posters on this subject would back up that notion  ;)

Is he talking about me?

I think it has been asked before but I haven"t seen an answer. What time are we roughly expecting the main event to end. I don"t mean exact but are we talking 11PM-Midnight or 3-4AM?

BTW +1 on the 10k stack for the Razz. Razz is also played by grumpy young men since only 34  :o

I"m "sort of" in disagreement with Aspers on this - they think play 13/14 levels - I would prefer to play 15/16 and ensure we "get ahead of the game" for going into Day 2 - especially as we could very well sell out and have 200 runners per day (plus Alternates) - but I recognise this is a lot of play (16 levels = 12 hours play plus breaks) - so for now, I would have to advise (and will be advertising in advance) that we will play 16 levels - and then we can "walk back" on that on the day if desired (so potentially 2am).

(actually we reduced the clock from 45 min to 40 mins so not 12 hours play - more 10.5 ish - so potentially midnight with 16 levels and breaks).

(aware I haven"t got the APAT experience as a lot of you - but I do remember S7 Scottish NAPC and how long that went on for on Day 2 with 130 runners - so, as said, I"d prefer to get ahead of the game and not have Day 2 run into the early hours - which is the final day of the WCOAP on the Bank Holiday Easter Monday - with this I"m estimating that both Heads Up and ME Day 2 will both complete around 22:00 on Monday).
