Could be a great weekend for the craic.

For myself I am inclined AWAY from the chalet experience (based on some reading) but there is a Travelodge a few minutes away that"s c. £32 a night (pre-paid).

I expect to pull the trigger after the holidays.

That sounds like a plan to me :) I will review finances after new year and see how I stand.
