Try Poker Notes Live at the WCOAP

The thought of APAT endorsing a product like this is beyond me.

Just out of interest, would this be acceptable if someone sat at a table with a pen & paper making notes?

When I first started playing poker (2005ish) I used to do this (though not because I wanted notes on players, instead I wanted to write a TR on the tourney). It wasn"t seen as a problem then. Not sure what the rules would be now though...

Personally, I"m not a fan of the product and I"ve made my thoughts known to Robbie - who"s on the thread. However, I respect the guy"s endeavour in developing and putting a product out and he"s a genuine guy who is passionate about the game like the rest of us. So I"m certainly not against informing players so that you can form your view on it.
It seems to be much more the norm these days to see guys plugged into iPads and the like at tables, so I see this more as an additional activity while you play, rather than a tool that will give you a real edge. At least that"s the way I see it. But the purpose of the thread is very much to gather your views, so qudos to Wayne for his position.
