Very well done Tristan, and congrats to the other medalists also :)

Yep well done everyone - was a fun event played in good spirits.
Nice to meet you Claire. I was the guy who never passed a big blind to you all Day 2. Pretty sure I lost out in those battles though!

Haha not sure about that - was berating myself for a good half hour for not shoving over your lead into the 9 high flop. Put me out of my misery - you had two overs?

I know he"ll kill me for saying it, but I"d like to say a massive thanks to Mark "The Shark" Rowbottom. Top bloke, and him deciding to stay and cover an extra night than initially booked in for, despite being absolutely shattered himself, made the final day much more manageable.
One more thanks to Leigh Wiltshire, who created the MAX POINTS part of the spreadsheet for the team event. Made that *a lot* easier to relay info to the teams.

Just to add big thanks to you too matt - I know you were struggling on lack of sleep due to a hotel mix up, so kudos to you for remaing your usual cheery self through some very long shifts :)

aww, thanks :) x
p.s. can you tell us what you had in this hand? http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=15370.msg230715#msg230715
At the update table, opinions ranged from the ubernuts to stone cold bluff. No worries, if you"d rather not reveal!...

I remember the hand well :) As I recall, I"d raised in late position and Darren had called from the blinds. He check-called my bets on the flop and turn. By the time the river was dealt I"d invested a lot of chips and the pot was pretty huge. I check behind on the river, I lose the pot, so I had to balls up and fire the third bullet. It wasn"t an insta-fold from Darren either, he took a good minute (at least). Felt like 10 to me as I"d missed the lot.
