Just received an email blast from the folks at Premier Inn.

Although Bristol remains "uncheap" you could get:

Bristol City Centre (Haymarket) - Friday: £69 / Saturday: £86
Bristol City Centre (King Street) - Friday: £55 / Saturday: £84
Bristol Filton - Friday: £49 / Saturday: £61

The latter is somewhat out of town but could prove to be a saver even if taxis are factored in.

s4ooter:
Thank the lord its only a 30/40 drive.....:)

Chris_Austin:
60/70 mins for us which isn"t too bad but i"d prefer to stay. Debating whether or not to take one of the last beds in the Bristol YHA place. The building is a short walk from the casino and is pretty good for £25. Travelling up sounds ok but doing an hour drive at whatever time of night, going to sleep then waking up, having breakfast and doing it again  :-\

BOINGBLITZ:
My daughter has just returned to Bristol from Australia today.....she informs me it is St Paul`s Carnival on July 5th so this may well disrupt travel plans so factor this in for your journey times  :D
