I work for the Commonweatlh Wargraves Commission, erecting a new headstone in Blackburn Cemetery which is hilly and overgrown. Lost balance trying to move old headstone and fell into sunken grave, which was full of brambles, hitting my knee and elbow. If only my mate was filming I could of made £250 on You"ve been Framed.
When you are trying to build an extension on your house, any downtime when the weather is good sucks! So a bit of poker won"t hurt.

Seriously considering changing my plans and playing Friday/Saturday/Sunday instead, sounds like its going to be much more fun.

My change of plans is mostly because I found out 2 local guys are playing on Friday. They are not Apat regulars but both played in the Bristol event. They are decent players (one made last 2 tables) so are available for the team event if anyone needs players to make up the numbers.
IrishTom:
Hey Suzanne, I"m def up there for next Friday, but I"m trying to find some info - if I buy in online, like APAT, does that GUARANTEE me a seat right from the start - or, if it is over-subscribed will it be luck of the draw as to who gets to play "from the start" - with the others being Alternates?
More than happy to add the guys to Team APAT and get them a branded baseball cap if they want to join us - the more the merrier.
Anymore out there playing Goliath and we"ll add you to Team APAT?
Chipaccrual:
I"m playing UKPC on Thursday, with an option to play Goliath on the Friday if the UKPC doesn"t work out. :)
