tournament structure tweak

Fluence:
The level I have most issue with is is L8 when the ante"s are 75.

It takes more time than its worth, either leave them at 50 or raise to 100.

I agree that it would make things easier to also get rid of 150 & 250 antes.

The game is slowed by the dealer badgering players for them and giving change.

Mind you players don"t help. Some find it difficult to remember them but to be fair once they start it"s only every hand you have to put them in. :)

One thing that tilts the hell out of me when players call a 400 bet with (16 x) 25 chips, then 2 hands later they are asking me for F"in change so they pay their ante.

Also to those that pay their blind in the smallest denomination - every time you do this, a kitten dies.

And the dealer will hate you.

There"s one thing worse than this though (and I"ve only seen it a couple of times and never in an APAT event). There are people out there who feel it"s clever to hoover up all the small chips by paying a single 100 chip when the ante is 25 etc in order to get stacks of small chips to a) make it look like they are winning more pots than they are and b) to make their stack look a lot bigger than it is leaving everyone else at the table constantly scrabbling around for change and slowing the game considerably.

Whenever I see anyone doing this and refusing to stop I make sure that I loudly announce to the table exactly what he is doing and why and hopefully they stop... These people are lower than pond life in my eyes.

I do this occasionally.

Normally it is the last few minutes before the end of the level that the chip up will occur and it is solely to assist the dealers etc.

My viewpoint is simple. If you want lots of chips, do this, but dont be an ass about being asked to give change if you have the lot.

Swinebag:
"Lower than Pond life" is a touch extreme, when the crime is hoarding small chips.

Love to know what your thoughts are on jaywalkers.
