Never played this but sounds like fun.

How do you know whos playing. Do you just assume the big names will be there?

Pretty much Suzanne,

certain players will always be risky as you don"t know how serious they will take it or if they will end up just playing cash. (Tom Dwan / Galfond)

Then you have safer bets with people like Hellmuth and Negreanu who will play as many as they physicaly can.

Twitter can be a useful tool to find out who"s going :)

Always a sure fire way I find is to look on the Hendon Mobs stats for any players you are looking to have in squad.. If they have lots of WSOP flags from last year etc, pretty good way of gauging if they will be putting in a shift..
Also no harm in sending them a PM on FB  ;) asking if they will be playing the whole series.
But like Chris has mentioned be careful in selected certain "big" names they tend to steer clear of the $1,500-$3,000 events and wait for the bigger buy ins.

Taylor Paur
Erik Seidel
Calvin Anderson
Dominik Nitsche
Matt Glantz
Humberto brenes
Scott Clements
Maria Ho
David Peters
Dan Kelly

These players all cashed over 5 times last year for instance, so it"s probably safe to say they will be there again this year..
Also look to add players who are good at mixed games aswell as just NLH.

Some other big names likely to be playing, who you may want to pick for your team:

Bill Sheppard, Brendan Byrne, Jason Kemp, Glenn Laming, Tom Brady, Duncan Hodgkins, Richard Baker, Jo Howard, Andy Hall, Maggie Holt, Joe Carr, Adam Sharples, John Miller, Simon Lawlor, Presty. (May be some others I"ve missed.)
