APAT regs Barry (Victor Meldrew) Simpson and Craig ( Zozzy ) Dawson finished First and Second in the G Casinos Summer Sizzler 3 day event last night. LBPN regular Barry, and LBPN occasional Craig were heads up after a 3 way chop, with Craig taking down the title! I don"t know the details of the chop suffice to say it was for a minimum of 10K I think, well played guys!!

Thanks Mikey. I don"t get to play as many APAT "Live" events as I would like but I would have played the Cardiff Leg if it hadn"t clashed with the local Summer Sizzler tournament.
It worked out well for me and I am very proud to have won my first poker trophy to add to my APAT online Gold medal.
It was great having a heads up battle with Barry that lasted about 1 hour 20 minutes after coming through a field of 812. We have become good friends after originally meeting through APAT. The third player in the chop Chris, a local lad and also a good friend.

Going off with family to have a celebratory weeks holiday in America. I will be back for the start of the APAT Online Team Championship playing for Bill Shep"s team.

Coincidentally there appears to be a poker tournament going on at the same time in the same City in America that we are visiting   ;)
