And the first decent hand I saw today.

Geert Ceulemans had to make the final call preflop after some betting and raising action. We can tell this will be monster battle:

AA (Geert) vs QQ (vilain)

The board turns out: 4 K 4 6 3

Geert sees his chips growing with about 15k extra ! Just checked with him and he guesses to play a 50 k stack now. Most definately our first real chipleader of the day.

A GERMAN IN A 3-WAY ALLIN POT / BERT NEELS FLOPS GOOD

First we see Bert Neels take a man down.
His opponent is all-in for something like 10k on a 9872 board. And Bert Neels makes a snapcall pushing a third player out of the way. Bert flopped a set of 8"s while his adversary stays behind with aces. Jack on the river and Bert is working his way towards day 2.

Matthias Liese from Germany is encountering a 3-way all-in involving our own Tom Deschuytter:

River makes Matthias very happy and Tom unhappy with the 9h

SHAKING HEADS

Rob and Joachim are both shaking their heads after a strange fold so it seems. Joachim comes to tell me that one of the player"s put"s ink on the river and decides to fold after a reraise.... They were not involved though.

Heide Croonenborghs is one happy women. She just doubled her stack to a little over 5k with 33 vs AKo The board ran to a straight for Heidi on the river but in fact she didn"t even needed the straight to win the pot.

It"s an Ace Of Spades reunion at their table since  Niki "Vegas" Raskin and Nick Stas are sitting at her table.
