MARK DONNELLY

With 5 cashes, Mark would appear to be one of the least prolific of our senior players.  However, when he has played he has gone consistently deep in events, scoring heavily.  He was the star of APAT's first season, making 3 final tables, for 2 Silver medals.  That enabled him to win the season 1 live rankings by a full 13 points from Richard Davies.  Donnelly disappeared from the APAT tour, returning in season 6, where he made a further 2 final tables.

CHRIS WEBBER

Chris first cashed as recently as season 6, but he has had some incredible results since - particularly at the shorter field WCOAP events.  With WCOAP titles in Mixed (season 7) and PLO Hi/Lo (season 8) there is no doubting his skill across multiple game formats.  With 5 cashes in season 7 alone, Webber was able to finish runner-up in the live event rankings, an excellent achievement.  With the WCOAP on the horizon, Chris is a strong favourite to move into APAT's overall top 10 before the season is out.

ANT WILLIAMS

Ant is the highest ranked player at APAT over the past 10 years who has not won a live event.  However, his record of 9 cashes in events with an average field size of over 170 players is high testament to his quality and consistency.  The popular midlander has made 5 final tables, winning 2 medals.  While the Silver he won at the season 2 UK Team Championship stands as his highest finish, it is the Bronze he achieved in the following season"s WCOAP World Amateur Championship main event that will stand as his highest achievement.  Ant outlasted all but one of a 314 runner field to secure his highest ever cash of £3,000 and the respect of his peers.

And so we"ve reached our top ten.

There are multiple rankings that we could have put in front of you to represent who APAT's greatest players of the past ten years have been.

This list is inclusive of all events and the one we consider our most definitive ranking.

We will publish separate ranking lists for APAT main events only and WCOAP only in the coming days, but for today, here are our 10 highest ranked players over the past 10 years, across all events.

You have probably played with these guys many times.  It would be great to hear your views on their strengths and weaknesses, great hands you"ve played against them, what you like about their game, etc - to build our knowledge of how they"ve consistently achieved at a high level over such a long period.

Please post your thoughts below.
