A few hands from Table 8 for you.

As I approached the table, JP Round was just standing up to leave! Having been crippled in a hand with John Murray - Queens turned out to be no match for the luck of the Irish. John"s pocket 9"s were joined by a 9 on the flop and no queen on the turn or river and JP was left with 200 chips. No joy next hand and he goes to join the others on the rail.


Adam Stride, in early position, raises to 2000. It folds round to Paddy Kenny who asks how much Adam has behind and makes the call. The rest all fold.
They check it down to showdown on a board of 4c 8d 6s 2c Js
Adam tables Kc Qs
Paddy has 10d Jc and takes the pot.


Next, we see Daniel Thursfield, in mid position, pushes all in for 13,200 and Paddy fairly quickly re push over the top for around 35k
Everyone else gets out of the way and Daniel shows As 10c , Paddy has 9h 9d
The board comes out Kc 2c 4s 8c 2s , no help for Daniel and he is sent to the rail.



A few hands later and we have an all in pre flop from Christian Williams.
He is quickly called by Kevin Berrie.
The rest fold so the cards go on their backs and Christian"s 10d 10c are in real trouble against the Kh Ks of Kevin.
Until...10s Ad 2s flop, Christian takes the lead and Keving needs a king or running cards.
The turn is 6c and reduces Kevin"s outs to the remaining 2 kings.
The river is a very safe 8d and Christian doubles up.

As much as I love the guys in the new commentary team, please ask them to speak INTO the mic as opposed to whispering in it"s general direction  :) my left ear can"t get any closer to the speaker  :D
