Day 2 UK Team Updates

<< < (12/20) > >>

Luthee13:
Not much later and we see Mark O bet out to 36k and Glen re raise all in.

Mark very quickly calls and turns over Ks Qs
Glen, who has been incredibly quiet til this, turns over Ah Ad

The board comes 3h 5s Jd Kc 9c

And we lose Mark Oldfield in 8th place, well played to him, he takes £160 to go with his Bronze team medal.

Luthee13:
So, still fairly quiet here, small raises pre flop either getting through or being met with resistance and folding before a flop.

Glenn has been remarkably quiet and, I believe has only played aces all in, but the rest are fairly even in taking turns at taking the blinds.

Luthee13:
And again, as soon as I start typing the action starts!

Suranne makes her first move of the final table and min raises pre flop.
Matt immediately to her left moves all in.
Martin then asks for the count, 224k, re raises all in over the top.
It folds round to Suranne who reluctantly folds.

Matt has Kd Qh

Martin shows 9d 9h

The flop comes down with a little hope for Matt with 2c Js Ac meaning he has some draws as well as the two over cards to Martin"s 9"s.

The turn is 2s , no help nor hindrance

And the river is a very insignificant As

We lose Matt Carter in 7th place. Well played to him, he will go home with £205 more in his back pocket and a Bronze team medal for his cabinet.

Luthee13:
Still not a lot to report here, Brian increased his stack somewhat courtesy of Mark and Suranne has gotten two pre flop all in shoves through so has increased her stack nicely by collecting the blinds and antes there.

We are currently in Level 21, blinds are 10k/20k with an ante of 2k meaning that there is 42k in the pot to be taken in blinds and antes.

Luthee13:
Glenn pushes all in pre flop and under the gun.

Mark Lassman, next to act, counts out the call and makes it.

It folds to Paul in the big blind who thinks for a while and announces "you"re normally so tight" sighs and folds.

Glenn shows 4h 4s
Mark has 6d 6c

Mark is extremely pleased and slams the table at the good read and call.

But the flop soon ends his pleasure and swiftly delivers 3s 4c Jh and Glenn takes a lead.

The turn is the 2d and gives Mark a few more outs with the inside straight draw.

But the river is the 7h and Glenn doubles through again.
