#19 PLO

Position      Name      1      Ian Witt      2      Ken McBride      3      Simon Brooke      4      Rob Gerrard      5      Linda Iwaniak      6      Matt Ellison      7      Karen Balbi      8      Antony Pegorier

A hand from the feature table:

Blinds 300/600

Matt calls from mid position as does Karen.
Ian, on the button, also puts in 600. Ken makes up the small blind and Simon checks.

5 to the flop...

Js 10d Kd

It checks round.

7h on the turn.

They check again.

A river of 10s and it checks to Ian who makes it 3k to go.

Ken folds.

Simon asks how much Ian has left...but folds.

As do Matt and Karen and Ian takes the pot.

We lose Rob Gerrard from the feature table!

All the chips go into the middle...

Rob is holding Ac Ah Kc Kh

Antony has A s Qs 10s 6s

Flop is 10h 6h 7h Antony flops two pairs! But Rob can still hit one of the 2 remaining kings, the case ace, or a heart to take the lead...

6h means Rob makes his flush...but Antony makes the house and it is all but over.

The river was irrelevant and Rob is sent to the rail.

Turn of 6h makes

Position      Name      1      Ian Witt      2      Ken McBride      3      Simon Brooke      4      Martin Kalinov      5      Linda Iwaniak      6      Matt Ellison      7      Karen Balbi      8      Antony Pegorier

Martin joins the feature table in seat 4.

Blinds still 300/600.

Simon, under the gun, makes it 4.2k to go with only 2.1k behind.

Antony, on the button, calls.
Ian, small blind and Ken, in the big, both fold.

Qh 3h 8h and Simon moves all in.

Antony, in an almost obligatory manner, calls.

Simon - Ah Jh 4c 9c
Antony - 6s 9s 7s 7d

Simon has the nut flush and is at risk but way ahead.
Antony needs the board to pair and pair his hand, or running 7"s to knock Simon out, other wise, he will double...

8s on the turn and the board pairs!! A sweat for Simon...

But a safe 3s river means Simon gets the double.

Martin makes it 2.4k, under the gun.
Matt calls, as does Antony and, in the big blind, Simon.

Simon checks the flop before it comes...

7d 10c 2c

Martin says 4.8k
Matt and Antony both fold and Simon says all in.

Martin asks for a count and it is 12k.

He calls and shows 5h Ac 2d 5c he has Simon covered and has the flush draw.

Simon has 4s 7c 10h 10d and has a set of 10"s

Ks and Simon only has to avoid a club on the river in order to double up again.

Js and Simon gets the double.
