Well it"s that time again...time for the braver souls of APAT to risk the barren wastelands of the northern hinterlands of the UK.

Yes....it"s time for another invasion of Yarm... spiritual home of the dread Stockton Massive.

Lucy Amos is arranging a Charity Poker night at the G Stockton on Friday 22nd July (7.30pm start) and this seems like a reasonable excuse (if one were needed) for a weekend away.

I don"t have full details as yet of the event but I"m sure those can be prised our of Luthee for the price of a Long Island Ice Tea.

For those of a like mind, the most reasonable hotel is the Premier Inn Stockton West where rooms (if boooking early can be had for under £40pn as of the time of writing.

Hi-jinks and large drinks can be expected.

Be there or...you know the rest.

Sadly, on every level, I am unable to attend. A very close friend passed away 20 years ago this year and her birthday was on July 22nd and we are marking the date in suitable fashion.  :"(

It"s always a cracking Weekend, plenty of pubs in Yarm to keep us entertained!
