2016 WSOP Fantasy Game & Staker
fandango:
Ok folks its that time of the year again.. WSOP is only a few weeks away and its time to get your picks sent to us.
There is some BIG changes this year, there will be NO catergories so you can pick 10 players of your own choice.
The scoring system will be the excellent choice of Rich Bakers where players who make deeper runs are more rewarded.
1st - 25 pts
2nd - 18 pts
3rd - 15 pts
4th - 12 pts
5th - 10 pts
6th - 8 pts
7th - 6 pts
8th - 4 pts
9th - 2 pts
cashing 1 pt
Six handed tables will be.. cash 1 point up to 7th, then top 6 will be rewarded as above.
8 handed tables the same.. cash 1 point up to 9th, then 8th as above
HU events.. winner 25 points, RU 18 points, SF all garunteed 15 points, Quarter finals garunteed 12 points and so on.
There will be no captains this year scoring double points, and no subs you have to stick with original 10 players, so do your homework!
We are allowing entries for teams up until Event#10.. after that no more entries will be allowed in.
Prizes.. will stick to the usual £10 entry fee which i will hold until conclusion .. 1-15 entries winner takes all. 20 players+ will be split 3 ways like other years .. e.g 20 entrants first £120, 2nd £50 3rd £30
Had no confirmation from Des/APAT about any added value for winner like in past years but im sure the powers who be will confirm or not if they are adding any ;D
John has indicated that he may have laptop issues this year/and may be in Vegas himself for a duration of WSOP.. so he has said if anyone would like to take over the task of doing the spreadsheet he could send them the necessary gubbings needed. ( i am terrible with anything techno otherwise i would offer to do ).
If players can PM me their picks and send me the cash before start of Event#10 (any late reg you start scoring from that date) then your in.
Good luck.. lets see who can knock Steve Ball of his podium #1 spot or can he regain his title?

Good to see some familiar names sending in their picks.. You guys have done your homework I see!! Some names of players I expect to do well are popping up in all teams ;)
Feel free to share link on FB and see if we can surpass last years entrants

Guys - you should be using Staker for this! Much the same principle, but we"ll do a lot of the heavy lifting on results, leaderboards etc. Plus it would be great to get some volume through the game because we have big plans beyond it"s current free to play state...but we need to demonstrate volume and performance over the next three months.
We"ll add an APAT seat exclusively for the winner of this league, on that platform. ;)
