If you've been around the game for a while, you will recognise the need for an organisation which puts players' interests first, and has the authority to deliver at all levels.

The Amateur Poker Association consults with gaming and industry bodies to enhance the player experience; with standardisation of rules, player friendly structures and event sponsorship at the top of our agenda.

The combination of low entry costs, premium regulated venues and professional tournament direction, has ensured that the Amateur Poker Tour has quickly become the affordable proving ground for players wanting to realise their potential in high quality live events.

The APAT forum gives us an opportunity to build our community further.  Members can look forward to plenty of lively debate, but please remember it is a condition of entry that members remain civil with each other at all times.

We look forward to discussing and formulating Association & Tour direction with you going forward.

We"ll be doing a live update from Dublin of course, well I will if I can get the boss to run around and get some chip counts

as for the Online Series, maybe. The idea is in my head now, will see if I can do one towards the end of Season 1 when those POTY points become so crucial
