Charlie Carrel was chip-leader coming into Day 3, but the wheels came off and he was eliminated shortly after the first break.
Double bracelet-winner Kristen Bicknell made the final table. This will be a failure as she only got to sixth place this time.
Chris Ferguson cashed yet again - that makes nine so far this Series.

This one didn't affect our league a great deal, but it is a tournament that will be remembered for a few reasons.
The winner plays Hold'em and Razz, is inexperienced but "functional" at Omaha 8 and doesn't know up from down at Stud and Stud 8. “I kind of just learned on the fly to be honest. Day 1 was just a huge learning experience and I was just accumulating more and more knowledge on the fly, at least as far as the Studs go." That's great for him, but it did lead to some occasions where he played dodgy hands which ended up getting there, causing some reactions you are more likely to see in your local casino than amongst the pro's. He was still getting lucky on Day 3 close to the final table, causing Valentin Vornicu to lose his cool with him after another suckout.
This event will also be remembered for Matusow's antics, singing to himself at times and doing a little dance for the crowd. He got close to a fourth final table, eventually being eliminated in 11th place after being on the brink several times, but also having chipped up dramatically in between.
Must-watch clips of all the above will, presumably, be available to see on YouTube before long.
