Is the winner not the person we had to call back to the table when you had to split the pot...?
Certainly looks like him and I know he was Canadian..
He spoke French with his friend but good English to us at the table.

No I finished him off later, it was a funny hand though when we chopped, he shook hands went the rail completely dejected looking to the gods above only to be called back, he couldnt believe it!

However when it was his exit hand we were somewhat similar in chips, again we shook hands and he lefts not quite so forlorn this time, then the dealer calls him back saying he had a few chips left, he sits only to be told "Sorry I made a mistake and you really are out", a little cruel.
