Am I missing something here, or is there really no value and it"s just a flash in the pan marketing gig which once the intial curiosity factor dies down will die along with it?   :-\

Its certainly looking that way, from the comments on here. I think it would be better if there was no "overall winner" and the prize pool was split 4 ways.

Whilst this is clearly just the same as just playing 4 STTs, the concept of being up against the same players in 4 concurrent games is surely something that could be used to your advantage

That is true but you also get the disadvantage of no stagerring either, so if you get to the final 5 players in all 4, you are at a disadvantage to anyone else who is not and 4 hu matches at a time would be pretty tricky too.

looks like the matrix project is over before it started

They are SnG games where the stake is split into 5 and you play 4 games simultaneously against the same 5 or 8 opponents each worth 1/4 the pot and
the last 1/5 of the pot goes to the overall winner.

Thoughts ?

I"m thinking that 4 lots of 1/4  plus 1/5 is more than 1, or am I missing something ???
