BLACK COUNTRY POKER CLUB....Please read if local

If anyone local to the Wednesbury, Walsall, West Bromwich areas is interested in joining our poker club, please get in touch.
  The cost is £10 per month and we will play once a month at local venues on a Friday night.
   It will be run on a League basis with the top 1...or maybe 2.......getting a £550 buy-in to a GCBPT tourney next year.

Bloody good craic!! Anyone in the midlands should come and give us a go - great bunch of guys, and a good game played in a proper APAT style atmosphere.

Just felt the need to post up a hand from last night - solid proof that live poker is sooooo rigged.....

Down to last 3. I folded my button with the medium stack, and SB makes up. BB goes all in, and SB calls for his tourney.

SB has TT. BB has A4.

Flop = 4Tx

So SB has hit a set - surely he will double up...... although BB hit the 4.

Turn = A

OK now everyone is getting excited....

River = A

What are the chances??!   After that flop, turn/river had to be either 44 or AA for the BB to win. Amazing suckout. If that were online, the SB guy would probably never play again.
