Mini League Leg 3 - 13/11/08 - So, you get four cards, right ?

<< < (8/11) > >>

Laxie:
1st hour was spent with husband giving out to me in the background for folding too many hands.  Conversation went a bit like this:

Flop..."Arrrrgh...TOLD YOU to play that one!"

"What part of that do you reckon I had?"

"Nothing yet, but it was coming."

"Uh huh....sigh"

Right before the break...out of our 11 year old daughter:

"Dad, yer such a fish!  Can I play you heads up?  We don"t have to play for money if you don"t want."

Chipaccrual:
Having all sorts of broadband problems this evening resulting in me about ready to drive round to Mr Tiscali"s house and throw a chipset through his lounge window.

Can someone please post the final nine, just in case I can"t get on later.

Many thanks,

Leigh

Just off to get the car started.   >:(

Tiscali? Eeesh!

Even WikiPedia are telling it like it is with them;

"On 13 July 2007, Tiscali UK acquired the consumer broadband and voice businesses of the British competitor, Pipex Communications, at a sum of £210 million. Tiscali estimates that the deal increased its customer base in the UK up to 1.9 million. [21]

Since Tiscali began to migrate Pipex customers to their network there have been reports of major disruptions. Many customers have experienced disconnections from the Internet varying from a few minutes to many hours or days. [22]

Also, there are continuing reports of billing issues for migrating customers and there is a belief amongst some high usage Pipex customers that they are receiving a less than satisfactory service post-migration. [23]"

They really have gone down the sh1tter recently. I"ve transferred a good few clients over to Madasafish Broadband at £9.99 / £14.99 (earning myself £30 each time) and the difference is night and day!

Flopped two pair, with multiple straight draws which didn"t materialise and lost to a Full House - no complaints.

Sick game though  ;D

Just got knocked out in 9th. Quite pleased as it was my 1st ever attempt at the game.   Confused most of the time, I wish they"d leave the hands on screen a bit longer after showdown so I can work out who won and with what hand they had. thought I had a full house early on but got that wrong, cost half my chips, but somehow doubled up later.   Enjoyed the game and will try again. GL to everyone left in (Nabucco1)
