Has anyone played Aspers on the friday night? I am thinking of doing it next friday(25.2.11) if anybody else fancies it, I would also consider les croups.

Dont know about aspers on a friday but was at croups last friday... 100+ runners for a £15 freezeout. a good night... helped by the fact I made the final table but had my AK cracked by A9 to go out first for £30. Will probably be there again this friday... aspers would probably be a bit too tight for me to get there after work... would need to check out train times but if it was doable I"d be up for it...

I am a big fan of les croups, I played last monday and came 4th, top 3 cashed and there were 32 runners, i was quite happy with my performance. we should definately arrange a friday in les croups, the last friday of the month is usually quite busy as it is most peoples payday. well done on the final table, any news on when the online league starts.

Les Croups is better than Aspers on a Friday night, Aspers is basically gets turned into a nightclub, not great for trying to play cards. Les Croups has some excellent cash games (not that I have been there for ages but I am told they are still good).
The new league will be annouced at the same time as season five so I would expect to see that some time next month eith the season kicking off in April.

Les Croups still very vibrant for cash games although not a participant myself, prefer tournies... very wary of cash. Cardiff Grosvenor offers cash as well now though on a more regular basis than it used to - until recently were only getting a table going on a fri or sat - now there"s often a table going on most nights and it"s usually a more leisurely game... not as manic as les croups which is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
