APAT UK Online Championship - Saturday 10th January 8pm - Discussion

<< < (50/56) > >>

THEGUY84:
I do think it was a great tournament, but it did become very much allin or fold poker! there was very little play in the end.

APAT:
TheGeeny87 came to the final table as the chip leader with 478k.  Shortly after the start, he was extremely unlucky to lose a 324k pot when his pocket Aces lost to BadCawl"s King Ten (all in pre flop), when a Ten hit the flop and River.

As far as I could see, TheGeeny87 choose to aggressively play out the tournament, rather than ladder up and while he got lucky in a couple of big hands, he met his objective and raised everyone off the table.

Anyone moaning about this, particularly from the rail, should examine the level of luck involved in their chosen game imo.

WASP:
Well played geeny and good luck to you, he may have run good but was that his fault? and the stick was undeserved IMO.

I"m happy with 3rd, so I"ll see you all in Walsall, I"ll book the Village see you in the pool Des ;-)

APAT will certainly look at the latter levels to see if we can smooth the crunch points.  Inevitably, it has to hurt somewhere along the line.

Chipaccrual:
Right, so Gloucestershire and East Sussex 1st and 2nd.  I make that a right result for the Southern Players.  Bring on the National League.   ;D
