So, KP has mental fatigue, is at the end of his tether and can"t wait to get back home. Is that England or South Africa KP for the IPL and all those big bucks !!

Timing is everything, just as England are boosted by the return of Freddie we wake up to KP and more of his me me me stories. Time for a rest if you ask me, England should leave him out today and play someone who is in the right mental state for the game, not fatigued  ;D Probably won"t happen, but not been impressed with KP this winter, he has got some runs but hasn"t looked right.

England have performed reasonably ok in the last two one dayers, winning one thanks to the Windies management team, got a feeling they will do well today in Barbados.

So England FTW and a 2-1 lead in the series.

Set my alarm early this morning, 6.45am to get up and watch the Australian GP.

Glad I did, a thoroughly entertaining race was enjoyed, lots of action and overtaking, with the result a dream start for the Brawn GP team and Jensen Button.  I also have to say it was also lovely to watch the whole GP without those damn adverts.  Enjoyed the BBC coverage and also watched the debate after the result on the red button, the Beeb couldn"t have wished for a better GP to start the season, especially with a Brit winning !!  Will be getting up early in Cardiff to watch the next one.

Now back to the cricket, after the poor performance on Friday it"s good to see that the England boys lost their day off yesterday, good management from Flower and Strauss, get them in, work them hard and demand they show some pride !

Not holding my breath for later as the Windies are high in confidence, but hopefully they can turn it around and give us something else to cheer on this weekend !

Come on England, show us some pride and passion, please !!

So England have a chance to get something out of the tour on Friday, finally winning a game without the assistance of the Windies management, but with a helping hand from the weather and the fact that the ground had floodlights !! Strauss defied his critics with a quick fire innings enabling England to cruise to the Duckworth/Lewis target required.

All to play for in St Lucia and moral building series win.

Today we also hear that KP wanted to leave the tour to see his wife as he hasn"t seen her for 11 weeks. He hasn"t been married long and I"m sure he"ll appreciate it in a few years time and will be happy to spend 11 weeks away from her eventually ;D

Put my deposit down on the South Africa tour next winter today, costs yet to be set but hopefully won"t be too high, got the bug after the Windies tour.  Will also be attending the Andrew Strauss Benefit Dinner on the 8th April, a few well known stars are attending so I will hopefully have the camera out to add to the blog.

Looking forward to meeting up with everyone in Cardiff.

Well, arrived in Cardiff on Friday evening and caught a little bit of the cricket.  It was finally good to see England get something out of the tour, although with a little help from the weather and the Duckworth/Lewis system once more. But a series win is a series win !!

Enjoyed a late breakfast on Saturday morning and wandered over to the casino for the tournament.  Had a great time as always and it was lovely to get lots of comments from everyone about the blog.  Battled to keep my stack around 14k for most of the day but after the dinner break struggled to hit anything and was slowly going under, finally eliminated around 10pm.

Had a burger in the casino and a couple more guiness before heading back to the hotel.  Woke up on Sunday feeling perticularly rough, watched the Grand Prix and then it started, threw up once and then twice, have I eaten something dodgy I thought !!!

Checked out of the hotel and then back in again a shortwhile later, extended my stay and managed to see a bit more of Cardiff, in particular my hotel bathroom for two more days as I suffered hell.

Finally arrived home today after recovering enough to feel safe enough to drive.

Looking forward to the next one  ;D
