APAT on Sky poker Week
TightEnd:
to quote Mr Kendall
"
Compo - "so Daniel, here we are, half way through Day Two, how is it going?"
"Great" says our English Amateur Champion Hero, "I busted out yesterday".
Worth a look for that alone.
All top 6 Finishers in the APAT European Amateur Championship were interviewed, plus the Irish, English & UK champions, being Jacques Kieft, Kinboshi & Lee "jjandellis" Mulligan. Oh, & a splendid interview with Tighty.
There"s also a cracking interview with Big Tikay - Thomas Kremser - in which "moving the shortstack" gets put to bed good & proper, & a mini-chat with John Duthie.
I musta been a bit crusty & tetchy after a long weekend, as I got a bit heated when chatting with Compo in the wrap-up about this balancing tables lark, & may have been a tad less diplomatic (= ruder) than intended. Ah well, too late now.
And Poker Week must have got themselves better lighting for the cameras, as I looked about 80, face lined & weary, methinks I need make-up for these gigs now.
The show airs on....
Sky Sports 1, Midnight Thursday.
Sky Sports 2 @ 9:30am Friday
Sky Sports 3 @ 2:30pm Friday
Thrice daily from Saturday on Sky Poker (Channel 846) from Saturday, the 8.30pm being the prime & most-watched slot.
And watch Compo"s chips disappear, he"s sooooo easy to steal from"
jjandellis:
OMG I sounded Northern (nowt wrong with that!)...I"d been told by my Southern (so southern she"s nearly French) wife that I"d lost my accent!!!!!!
Dan"s interview - priceless!!!
KUTGW Compo/TK!
RioRodent:
And a quick shot of me... from the rear again!!
Ah well, one day I"ll stay in long enough to warrant a frontal view! :"(
