Life is a gamble lets shuffle up and deal
THEGUY84:
well yesterday was a day off work, got 3 days off will be mostly be spend playing poker, psp, hitting the gym and some golf practise the session is appoaching if we ever get some decent weather.
Well yesterday, I played 3 Sng Cashed in 2 which is nice. Along with some cash games my usual 6 max, 0.05/ 0.10 and was $20 up so again was good.
To stop me playing to many hands I decided to play only a $2, 180 man tounrey. Where I came $4th for $36 not great as I was 2nd in chips with 4 left and I got my aces cracked by queens with a queen on the flop, so down to 4th, then I called a raise with ace jack in the big blind, flop come ace jack 7, I check player bets 3/4 pot and I shove, they call they flopped set of 7s. So out in 4th.
But was $72 up for the day so was nice concidering my small takes play!
Im trying to be stricked with my bankroll!!

... good luck with the disciplined approach ... it is really tough work to keep the head and stop over thinking people"s moves ... two pairs vs (hidden) sets the best way to lose money I think.
I watched the rest of the league match having lost AA vs AA!
Very unlucky ... I always muse that the luck will come back the other way ... we often forget to comment when it does ...
Looking forward to the Sunday game ...

i have gone bust having built up a bankroll numerous times...due to chasing losses.. i hate losing part of my bankroll that i once had, i just want to get it back again, therefore i move up the limits...bad bad idea. i do the same in online tournaments, when i lose a pot i just want the chips that i lost back so i make moves that are not there to be made. I am slowly getting this terrible habit out of my game!!
keep at it buddy!

yeah it really is tough trying to be diciplines but, I have started keeping more note on my days play, an I note down my bankroll every day.
Im looking forward to the league game, I have really enjoyed them so far, saying that if prob because I have been making decent runs. Hope that continues.
Glasgow needs a good turnout and preformance this weekend.
