$2.5m g'tee tonight on I-Poker ...
Honeybadg:
... $525k ... well I would have still would have been a long way from that ...
I think I would have gone to 42nd with a double up there ... on target for $8,750 ... (best previous win $8,125)
It was starting to feel that I might be trying to limp to $2,750 ... so I tried to be a bit tricky and paid the price ... some other time you go all in and those to act after you have QQ,KK,AA ... that is hugely minimal though ... there are lots of low flops I get a lot of chips and so on ... another J would have been nice ... ahh!
My game is coming together ... slowly ... I would have liked to have played that hand face to face ...
... but in the end it is an error ... so I have to go to WORK tomorrow ... sigh!

... stack sizes ... I had 19,000 ish ... he had more ... so it should be an all-in from me ... make him decide ... about 35k I think ...
Just before I had gone all in with KK ... (not called) had been active ... he might have called ... there were others to act after but in the end that is just thinking too hard ... (or too weak) ...
What do you think?
Just a simple all in pre-flop?

Nah probs too deep to shove but u could 3 bet.
Thing is if u shove on the flop your only getting called if your beat unless he decides 99/10 10 is good
Honeybadg:
... yeh tricky spot ... I think given what had been happening at table he would have called a raise to 7200 ...(or maybe an all in for a perceived race) ... hard to see me folding to a re-raise anyway ... so I think I should have gone all in ... (though again hating the idea of racing vs AK or AQ)
In the end he has about the only hand (that he could have) that kills me ... (or QQ,KK,AA ... which felt unlikely ...)
Over pair vs top set is tricky stuff ... but I think there were ways to escape and have a stab at the money ...
... but I am pretty sure next time up I run into QQ,KK or AA ... one of those odd times when would have been better to have half the chips to make the decision easier.
I guess the obvious question is what was I going to do with an A,K,Q on the board ... give it away?

Honeybadg:
... hilariously first hand of the day I watch on the final table is JJ vs 88 ...
Large stack raises with JJ ... short stack pushes all in with 88 ... flop is 925 ... now where was that 6.5 hours ago? My "master plan" just might have worked!
The JJ holds up ... 7 left ...
Blinds just up to 10000/20000 with a 2000 Ante ... Average stack is 978k so a lot of play left in this ...
Looking forward to next big event!
Louis
