Tales of the Honeybadger
Honeybadg:
... got up to watch golf and it is the rivers of babylon ... GRRR!
Still smiting myself with a virtual warhammer over last night"s weak post flop play - what was that about - like hitting the ball in the soup with a broom ...
Honeybadg:
Back to the tables ... and unfortunately no joy ... losing races and running into raggy aces that had spiked ...
(Gave a few away too!)
Maybe some Turbo DS for a $215 will provide therapeutic??
(Made it to the final table at least - 2 tickets - did well after AQ vs K5 (call) defeat
L
Honeybadg:
$215 ticket won from $11.70 ... with three left for two tickets ... I pick up AA
Flop 88x ... obviously the chips can go in here but I check ... checked back ...
Turn A ... check-check ... river ... is a brick ... I push ... insta call vs 88 for quads ... OMG!
Nice to rise from the dead!
But never seen that before ... turn the nut full house ... only to lose to the made quads!
Warm Up tomorrow ... what coolers will lie there?
L
Honeybadg:
Sunday Warm Up - played well until AK vs AA and with the crumbs 66 vs J4 ... flop J4x
APAT ... played okay ... then KK vs AA ... then tried an absurd bluff ... oops ...
Honeybadg:
Back to the tables ... and familiar tales ... nut flush vs flopped full house accounting for me in a $109 event on Stars ...
Just out of a re-buy event KK vs AA ... moments earlier AQ vs x444Q vs AA ... earlier still AA vs JJ vs A3 (winner) ...
What to say?
Perhaps the omens are clear to see ... running around the volatility maypole ... looking to the skies for nice match ups ...
