Honeybadg:
TAX RETURN JOY - £732

This is a real boose to my happiness - I was delaying my attempt to find the relevant paperwork to submit my return.

Ahead of this I had bought into the Betfair Live event - so next stop the Hendon Mob to find my next adventure!

My plan for the year it to spend half of my UK in Scotland ... could be tricky!

(I am wearing yellow cords and mountain trekking boots - ideal from my return to London!)

As a total aside - I was thinking about my last visit to Japan - some local came up to me in a pub and ask whether I was one of the contestants on their "sumo wresting reality show" ... I liked this idea ... but sadly it remains a myth.

That said when I went shopping in Tokyo I had to go to a special shop for mammoths and giants in order to buy a fur coat ... (not real fur) ...

I then boarded a plane for Melbourne for the coldest Christmas in Melbourne"s recent history ... 12 degrees C ... dressed as a Santa ... then went to the cricket ... the day I watched Symonds and Hadyn (spelling?) scored about 265 unbeaten and I got sunburned before going to the casino where I was card burned ...

4 years on and England are kick ass ... fair play to them and Andy Flower ... scorching the myth that England need an English manager ...

Where will I be in four years time?

Interesting gambling day ...

Bet on Middlesboro to win at Burton Albion ... but closed the bet when 1-0 up ... so delighted to see them lose ...

Lost a little on the fumbling Phillips on the darts vs Adams.

Bigger bet on Dekker to win the Championship ... looking like a coin flip vs Winstanley ... and then the stumbling Adams ... nice 12/1 shot ...

Nice action ... darts is a sport.

Lucky 7s?

Not today - in my two main tournaments - I shoved 77s into QQ and AA ...

Card dead in one, the inpatient unbeliever in the other.

... looking forward to the Betfair Live event Feb 12/13th ... but time to get my head back into business.

Good luck on the tables.

Put in a pretty average cameo cash game appearance last night ... bad luck and bad play ... a dynamite combination ...

2011 profits eroding quickly ... mmm

On the plus side managed to fall asleep and henced fail to bet on Winstanley vs Adams on the darts ... it"s such a great gig for Adams ... £100k a year for the BDO world championship for doing nothing special at all ...

Played some epic "fatboy football" last night ... at times it felt my mind was linked to someone else"s body ... but a good run out.

I woke this morning with the thought of pioneering a form of winter "pitch and putt" using spades and footballs ... it might catch on, and I am sure digging giant holes in the greens would go down well.

Not sure what poker can tempt me today?
