Honeybadg:
Outrageous darts weekend continues with a correct score on Wade to win 10-7 ... crazy match ... will take the +£150 and run ...
Semi Final draw :
James Wade vs Mark Webster
Wes Newton vs Dennis Ovens
Loving the draw ... although Wade is favourite ... Wade making hard work of it ... Newton and Ovens on form ... but will they fancy the final vs the more established player??
Ovens 15/2 is absurdly good value for the title ... with a view to trade ...
Honeybadg:
ARGH!
Webster couldn"t across the line ... and never enough liquidity to lock the profit ... could have taken a few £200 out but happy to let it run ...
Wade has done me before ... great fighting spirit ... but really annoying ... I still get £315 if Ovens wins it ... and the value is there but can I really see it ... not sure I can?

First poker for nearly a month ... kept running into hands ... before re-grouping ... but finally a buy-in lost with the classic 5 outer on the river spiking me ...
Yawning a bit ... maybe Yang will sort me out in the golf ... though I have the field vs Rory ...

... yawn again ... perhaps this blog should become called "bored by variance" ...
Today - damage done by two pairs becoming river flushed ... I managed to hold onto $70 then lost them KK vs AJ to the same player ...
I was pondering the big I-Poker qualifier on Black Belt Poker ... 30 seats for the main event ... not checked out the predicted massive overlay yet ... in days of yore would have been the biggest gimme ... sad in a way that I am looking forward to Monday morning and hammering work ...
Vegas next year? What is the poker dream now?
L
Honeybadg:
... friends in Vegas living it up ... a couple of my friends have scored minor cashes in the World Series Events ... but it"s torture to play so many hands and then just lose a race ... hollow ...
It did however tempt me to play a little cash ... one hour later ... race lost ... two pairs crushed on the river by a 4th diamond ... second pair counterfeited soon after ... in the tiniest of tilts I bluffed away $60 ... but decided instead to drain my Betfair account and lump £350 on Nadal for Wimbledon ... GAME OVER ...
... moments later ... email arrives about some DTD Betfair event which sounded quite pleasing although clashes with APAT Scotland ... mmm ... dilemmas ...
Reading my about friends" Vegas exploits I do wonder what end game I want ... I think that the answer is to win something of considerable size and then make a speech about, however you analyse it poker its so full of luck ... that I am now retiring ...
Alt : Win the World Amateur Crown and make a speech about "great bullets dodged and hero plays" ... In a weird way I like version II better ...
Pondering ... I guess I could do both ...
