Honeybadg:
Played the Genting main event ...

Raced up to 40k from 30k with no starting hands in the first hour.
Then cut in half turning the staight vs the over pair to the board - who then riverred the full house ...

Villain of the peace - Wayne Eustace - who hit 7 sets/trips in about 3 hours - cannot play against that.

Rebuilt stack a little - but totally card dead - beyond endless drawing starting ends - I played most of them ...

End hand T9o into AT9 ... money in the middle for 85BBs ... vs AQ ... A on the turn ... super yawn ...

Dodged some bullets nicely to stay alive - but need to win your 71/29% shots!

Honeybadg:
Watching the final table now ... Chaz Chattha must be licking his lips at the final table play ...

The standard commentary is "I cannot believe he did that" ... it"s all pretty dire ...

Albeit last few eliminations standard ...

Dan Hardy out in 7th ... was on my table yesterday ... good player ... 44 vs AK

Also left Stefan Wittmoss left in (again on my table yesterday) ... made a massive incorrect fold on day 1 vs David La Ronde (one of the few interesting hands) ... but then came back very well ... now at the final table called off under no pressure with AT vs QQ ... and then very lucky to get a 22 short stack shove to fold 77 (so bad) ... but still alive (albeit short) ...

So many good players eliminated earlier ... so it"s a big draw to play more ... but need to have the scope to play lots to iron out the volatility ...

Not sure what is next??

Honeybadg:
Is it really only 9 days since I played ... seems like a super long time ago ...

Break 3 in the Sunday Warm Up ...

Just about average - having (for the second tournament running) turned a straight and lost the min to the rivered full house.

Being dealt lots of KK"s tonight which is novelty ... was in great nick until the hand above.

Honeybadg:
Effective Exit hand  ...

KK vs TT vs 77 ... T on the river ... to return to 75BB

Then

KTo into AA for 5BB

Too dull ...

Honeybadg:
Darts is always the answer to get me betting ...

Beaton has the dodgiest record ever at the PDC World Championship ... scrapes the 1st set with the throw vs rank outsider who is now 8/1 to come back and win ... odds against for sure ... but 8/1 is massive ...

See how we run ...
