Tales of the Honeybadger

Honeybadg:
Day 2 lasted 22 minutes.

Button raise from Victor Ilyukhin (super stack) vs my large stack (I am the BB)
I am pretty sure he will call any standard raise.

I have KJ flop KJ9 all clubs.

We get it all in the turn (super brick two of hearts).

It takes him a good while to call with his flopped straight (no clubs).

I came for the win - this put him to c225BB vs average 60BB - He did not make the money.

As stated poker is too hard these days - so I might have another 17 months off??

In fairness - a good event.
Vic is a bit nicer these days.
I would play it again - Saturday afternoon flight is definitely super value.

(The steak and eggs and the sunshine were good).

Could not clear desk to play the UKIPT event this weekend (Hippodrome £400).

Not sure what is next.

Conferences/holidays/work in the way until 2016.

Been nice to super selectively gamble.
Zach Johnson for the open after 2 rounds was good at 25/1
Gary Neville for next Man U manager at 25/1 might be good - but might be a while in cooking.
I had a punt on Arbroath to win Scottish Div 2 today at 9/1 - I think that is super miss-priced in a league of absolute rags. (Let"s see if I say that at the end of today).
Scottish Treble (Hibs/St Mirren/Arbroath today).

Might make it back to an APAT event in 2016 - would be good.
I recall my debut at Walsall - great first table - albeit nobody eliminated for 4 hours.

Honeybadg:
(Perhaps I dreamt this event at the Hippodrome - anyway it seems to have disappeared)

Why play poker when you can bet on Arbroath?

L

Honeybadg:
Tedious min cash in Big $109. (Chip Lead after an hour)

102nd from 895.

Lost half AQ vs AK
Then ran 99 in to KK.

Standard.
