Really annoyed by my beat at that £50. It"s not often I feel I"ve got an edge over EVERY player on my table, and would have been confident to at least FT. Getting JJ broken by a ridiculous AI call with A4o is bad enough, but when it"s by hitting trip 4s...

We"ll try the Empire next time ;)

Final Table would have been interesting.

Gandi who won it is a very good player.

He beats me heads up 99 vs AT in my first and only cash at the old gutshot!

Starting to get tempted by the £100 freezeout tonight!

Get involved in the Double Shoot Outs on Poker Stars.

In the classic style I won the bubble with AA vs QQ ... I hit the Ace ... he hit the flush!

Excellent format and lots of scope to make money ... was starting to eye the $215 ticket ... but poker isn"t like that!

Earlier I had come back from 240 chips (of 10,500) ... won an epic heads up ... including a self induced disconnect (for half my chips).

Oh well.

In the Derby - I lost £20 on Rip Van Winkle - which came too late - annoying.

RT +$1,565

Enjoyed the ludicrous 7 over match Scotland Vs New Zealand.

West Indies looking pretty good vs Australia.

The England defeat seems so long ago (now) or did I just watch it too often?

Cannot win a race

Cannot win a AK vs A6 ... makes life hard.

Made 9th of 91 in the Betfair Eyes wide shut for a profit of $80.

A6 vs AJ vs AQ helped ...

Bed.

Here we go again ... Sunday Warm Up is the target ... make the money and don"t lose 99 vs Q4!

Went to the Tate Modern this morning to play on their installation - tilting boards and tightropes and so on - very good fun.

Their sausage ciabatta is nailed on and home for 1pm and the cricket.

S Africa a scary proposition.

Pakistan maybe scarier for England.

Looking forward to the APAT game.

Back to Scotland tomorrow - leaving the dust and grime of London behind for a while.
