Swinebag:
It was more a comment on how the tourney plays out rather than a comment on how you played it. You are cashing regularly and with a bit of luck can go deep here. Stick with it and make sure you qualify rather than buy in direct.

It was interesting to watch the different approaches, "lilholdem954" (previous massive winner), pushed everything and blew up 171st, but seemed to take the view that fold equity plus a likely 35% chance at showdown was enough for any two cards.

Not the worst approach. Sort of backs up what I was saying about needing showdowns (and winning them) to go deep

Yeah - I took as a general comment though always pondering the balance in my play - a little passive at the moment.

Very easy to turn the volume up too much though and blow up early.

I used to play Betfair (100-150 runner ish) events all the time - made a solid profit but needed a change.

This year have been concentrating on the Warm Up and other offline events for the challenge/change - might need to go back!?!

Weird day on the horses ... a couple of second places from my tipped 4 ...

However a couple of winners yeilding bigger profits.

Bravo to the Glorious Goodwood Comp ... I pick the losers and then bet bigger on the others.
