Buy me in if I"m running late? ;)

Cheers,

A return to face to face poker:

International Club tonight : £100+50 rebuy/add on - Part of Paradise Poker"s Festival.

7pm start - not sure of exact format - but should be a good structure.

Last night Martin Silke won their £200 F/O - 80 Runners.

£100+50 rebuy/add on ...

AA vs QQ defeat ... standard ... yawn ...

100/200 (25) ... early position raises to 900 ... I re-raise to 3000 ... he goes all in for 9900 ... which has me narrowly covered ... DING DING ... first card is a Queen ...

Of the 7 (Big) face to face tournaments I have played this year - I think I am 4-1 down on horror beats to be eliminated or crippled ... I may trawl my blog so see where I am on online ... feels about the same!?! Albeit there was one online event were I won everything no matter how far behind for about $1,500.

Distributions have long tails ... all you can do is stroke them and see if they purr ... right?

Honeybadg:
Interesting to view the chip counts of day 1A ... very few large stacks built (yet).

Could be a mammoth day 2.

My thoughts on day 1B tomorrow - pretty settled - obviously will need cards to stand up.

Will not be limping with weird hands ... will be pushing when in doubt.

Quite a few friends with money on me which is weird ...

Looking forward to some good cards ...

... not 99, TT and JJ ... with a load of AK flops ...

Honeybadg:
So no world title for the Honeybadger ...

Out in 46th AQ vs AK ... a real rearguard action from 4625 to 22000 but not enough cards and the wrong match ups.

Scouse raises with 44 and I re-raised with AA ... he folds
Scouse raises with AK and I re-raised with AQ ... he calls

AQ vs 44 and AA vs AK would have been nicer ...

In 7 hours play

AA - once
KK - once
QQ, JJ, TT, 99 - zero
88 - twice ... winning a 88 V AQ race
77 - twice

AK - twice

Not really enough to do any gunning ... needing luck with the chips in the middle ... Did win A7 vs KK when very priced in ...

Overall - could have played hands differently but no obvious errors made ...

Next year!

DTD ... spot on venue ...
