I played in a qualifier for the Brighton Main event last night on Ladbrokes.

27 runners for 2.7 spots ... $100 + 10 ...

Running time 5.5 hours ... OMG ... I made the consolation prize of $700 ... but some amazing levels including:

35/70 - on a 20 min clock (5000 chips) - this was level 4 - ARRRGGGHHH! (10/20, 15/30, 20/40, 35/70 ...)

and even more amazingly level 5:

50/100 with a 5 Ante ... that really put the cat amongst the pigeons ... not sure I have the mental strength for another of those!

Has anyone seen a slower stucture for a Satelitte?

Also no facility to do a deal ... so once we got the last three took about an hour to settle it ... unreal!

I played in it last week, and above is the reason I didn"t play in it this week.   ;D

... glad that I played in the end ... but I very nearly got the bubble when the big stack pushed me out of a pot with a chance to kill the short stack with 540 chips ... about 10 mins later he had 25,000 ...

I might play another one to get a seat ... I can be very patient!
