nice James ... not going this year, but did go out to Vegas las year as qualified for main event thru pokerstars.  After reading your blog and experiences, i also went and played a couple of tournaments at caesers while i was there. Could have cashed but had AA cracked by 44 with only 6 places to the money bubble!!  - Good luck, have fun !!!!!

74 days to go!!

So you must have planned what tourneys you are both (is it just the 2 of you?) playing.

Please reveal!!

Just the 2 of us booked up at the moment, although others may join us.  Mainly planning to play the deepstacks at Ceasar"s, the structure is really good and they get plenty of runners.  I also have my eye on so other variants at Binion"s, like HORSE and Omaha.  The bankroll doesn"t stretch to the WSOP at present (and they are poor value for money in my opinion anyway), although I may take a shot if I get a decent cash between now and then.

If you do cash enough to have a spin in a WSOP tournament you should go for one of the non-holdem events, they"re really easy.   The smaller field sizes means you"re more likely to play against a big name and it means there is less of a slog to get through a few thousand luckboxes - particularly if it"s a limit rather than pot limit game.

Good luck with all the events you decide to go for.

only 12 days, 17 hours, 34 minutes and 16 seconds to go...
