I would love to get staked - save me spending so much time on satellites. But Blonde requires 300 posts before you can request staking - so I could join & maybe get staked in about two years time. What"s the point?

It"s essentially just takling a lot John...... Can"t see that being a problem for you? :)

And it doesn"t even have to make sense..... again, right up your street!! (See what I did there)

Why do we not have a staking thread on here ??
Could we Des ?

+1 (and I"ve just added another post Trav)

Seriously though, I think this is a geat idea - I would love the opportunity to stake and be staked by fellow APAT-ers - I mean, isn"t part of APAT's raison d"etre (sp?) to get the professional experience for the amateur player??

Can we Des? Please, Please... be yer best mate etc.

(maybe I shouldn"t drink all day on these BHs  ;D)

Takes Kin about half a morning to get 300 posts in.

Granted you would get more sense from plankton but 300 posts is 300 posts.  ;)

The 300 posts rule applies to staking between members.
Blonde however run the SAS scheme wich is completely separate and is open to all members regardless of post count.
Entry requirement is as low as break even @ 6k hands at your chosen cash level or 200 sng`s. You will then be staked at the level Above the one you qualified at.

What he said.

The SAS scheme doesn"t even require membership of the blonde forum (although you might have to sign up to contact them about your interest for the scheme).

For recreational players like myself, it"s ideal.  I get to play at a level that my own bankroll wouldn"t allow, and I get to play without "playing scared" with money that I can"t really afford to lose.

The reason APAT wouldn"t get involved in something like this is the size of the investment required.  If there are say 50 people receiving staking at .50/1 cash games, what sort of "bankroll" would APAT need to provide to get those players going?  £1,000 each for starters?  That"s £50,000 invested with no guarantee of any return (although you"d hope there"d be some).
