Matt continues to hang on in there.....this from the pokernews.com live update:
Carter Doubles Through
Matthew Carter, whose chips have been in and out more than the hokey pokey, is now on 57,500 after doubling up off Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke.
It was a pretty simple affair - although I"m not 100% on the pre-flop action - Jimmy Fricke raising it up under the gun before finding action from Carter on the small blind. The chips (what was left of them) went in on a , Carter"s holding up against Fricke"s on the turn and river.

H-Man81:
Now that is a table and half! Imagine playing at the same table as Gus Hansen at any point, never mind when he"s a massive chip leader! Throw in Patrik who just happens to be 2nd in chips and some guy called Daniel Negreanu and that is an unenviable task! Though I"d still give my left arm to be in Matt's situation though! All the very best Matt.
