As my parents were married 50 years and 1 day ago, Ger was either celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary or mourning Elvis Presley.
APAT:
I"m pleased to announce the addition of Northern Ireland to the European Amateur Team Championship line up.
Colin O"Prey, a member of the successful Ireland team in last year"s Championship will act as Player Captain and it would appear he has a very talented player base to call from, with several players from Northern Ireland going deep in APAT events over the last two years.
In addition, the Republic of Ireland will be added to the entry list under the Captaincy of Len Collin. Len will retain the nucleus of his Championship winning team last year, with the exception of Colin O"Prey.
We wish the teams from both countries the very best of luck in Luton this November.
SirPercival:
Congratulations Colin - looking forward to the event even more now with 2 Irish teams to compete with at the bar tables
Laxie:
That"s it. I"m booking flights now as there"s no way I"d miss watching you lot in a team event! Well done Colin!!!
